[Bookkeeping Services](https://support.fullstack.com.au/bookkeeping-services?hsLang=en) # Give Fullstack access to Xero ## This short “How To” will help you set us up with the Xero access we require, so we can review your accounts and put together a tailored quote. We just need light, read-only access to your Xero file. This takes about 2 minutes, and doesn't let us edit, approve, or change anything.   **Please follow these steps:**  1. Log in to your Xero organisation 2. Go to Settings \> Users, then click New user 3. Enter Fullstack as the first name, Team as the last name, and [taxteam@fullstack.com.au](mailto:taxteam@fullstack.com.au) as the email address 4. Under Role, select Viewer, then Send invite. Xero will email us to let us know you've given us access — and you're done!  ![](https://support.fullstack.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-21-2026-12-51-36-4228-PM.png?width=670&height=323&name=image-png-Oct-21-2026-12-51-36-4228-PM.png) **Why Viewer access?** The Viewer role lets us see your accounts, transactions and some reports — but it can't edit anything, and it excludes some banking information and settings. If we go ahead together, we'll send you a separate guide for fuller access request.  **Note:** Only users with Standard or Adviser user roles with Manage Users access will be able to invite us. If you don’t have access to this area, please contact the person who pays for your subscription and ask them to give you access to this area.  **Tip:** We recommend that the business owner hold the subscription for Xero, that way your data cannot be held ransom by anyone!  **Legal:** By inviting us in, you agree to allow us to review your Xero data for the purpose of preparing our quote.
